USAINS Group Explores Collaborative Partnerships with UNIMAS and UNIMAS Holdings in Borneo
Sarawak, 31 July 2025 – USAINS Group held a courtesy visit to Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), where meaningful discussions took place with the university’s leadership team, led by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Prof. Ir. Dr. Hjh Siti Noor Linda, and the Chief Executive Officer of UNIMAS Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Dr. Abang Ekhsan Abang Othman.
The meeting focused on exploring potential collaborations between USAINS Group and UNIMAS / UNIMAS Holdings Sdn. Bhd. in various areas, including laboratory testing services, consultancy, and other initiatives within the fields of Engineering, Resource Science, and Technology. Both parties shared insights and experiences in delivering high-quality services across diverse industry and public sectors, highlighting opportunities for synergy and mutual growth.
During the visit, the USAINS team toured several key facilities, including engineering laboratories, materials testing units, and imaging labs. The visit provided valuable insight into UNIMAS’ infrastructure and technical capabilities, further strengthening the foundation for future collaboration.
